Annie Mist Thorisdottir is from Reykjavik in Iceland. She owns and runs Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, which is where she trains athletes. Annie has the distinction of being only one female ever to win at the CrossFit Games two times. Her second place was both in 2010, and in 2014. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelanders weightlifter CrossFit champion as well as a media star. The first female winner of the CrossFit Games in 2011, and 2012, twice. In addition, she is known for being the winner of in the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 and 2017. Annie was born and raised in Reykjavik, Iceland with her siblings and parents. Being an avid sportsman and working out enthusiast from a young age she participated in numerous school competitions and was awarded numerous medals. Her first participation was time in 2009 at the CrossFit Games held in California, where she did extremely well. Annie Thorisdottir in 2021, was age 31. She is 5'7" and her weight is approximately 67kg. Annie began CrossFit back in California. She performed well in initial games and finished at the top of the list out of 70. However, she was unable to win any awards and finished 11th in the final rankings. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. under the direction of Jami Tikkanen, Annie placed 2nd in CrossFit Games and was awarded the Silver Medal that year. It was her second year, she participated in her second CrossFit Games. Due to her impressive performance she became the first female athlete to win CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie also won her first CrossFit Games because of her outstanding performance. In addition, she became the first woman who has won the two CrossFit Games consecutively. Also, she received a trophy of silver in 2014 and an award of bronze at the CrossFit Games in 2021. Annie is presently a coach and instructor in Crossfit Reykjavik, which she started in the year 2000. Annie's rising recognition as a professional athlete has made her the model for a variety of sports brands, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Rennaisance Periodization Nuunhydration-Sidekick Yerb. In addition, she has her own Youtube channel, which is called "Annie", with over a thousand subscribers. This is the channel where she posts videos on the diet of her training, life with family and travel.
